Clawing and tearing at the foundation
Moments before claiming the victim
Piece by piece they got chewing
Away at the flesh which held it together

In the blue sky you could see the vultures circling
And yet you somehow stood by letting them prey on you
Leaving dry bones for the sun to finish off
All thats left is an empty shell of its former self

The same shitheads that downloaded musics demise
Are the one complaining that music is dead

There was so much more that could have been done
To avert and protect this way of life
When the smoked cleared and the rubble was cleaned up
The remains were scraped the rest is history
